I generally despise remakes of classic horror movies. They usually do a very piss poor job on redoing them. I just finished the remake of "I Spit On Your Grave" and i must say, for once i am quite impressed. It has been many years since i seen the original, but it is one of those movies that i remember well. One thing that i like about the remake is the kill scenes. They could of just rehashed those from the original, and in a way they did, but instead they chose to update them. I was very impressed with them. This is one of the only remakes that i have ever enjoyed, with the exception of "The Hills Have Eyes" and "Halloween". "I Spit On Your Grave" was a very good movie and everything about the movie, in my opinion was well done. I liked the cinemetography and especially the SFX. The one scene that i didn't enjoy as much in the movie involved CGI. I am not going to say which kill scene it is because i don't want to give it away for those of you that haven't seen it, but as far as that scene goes, I did like the scene and they didn't rely to heavy on the CGI, but then again if it wasn't for CGI they could never have done that scene. I thought this was a really good remake, and i recommend giving it atleast one viewing. I rank this up ther with "The Hills Have Eyes" and "Halloween" as the best, and only, remakes worth watching. I am sure that some people did not, or will not, enjoy this movie as much as i did, but this gore freak had a good ole time. Till we meet again. Kiss my sorry ass and have a good night. Just joking about the have a good night part. LOL.
