Happy Herbs and Horror Movies

There are many legal drugs known to man and accessable at an arms length.  In my opinion it's fun to get lit and watch horror movies. Many survivalists have gardens absolutely filled with legal herbs that will get you high.  If you live down South then you already must know about peyote and san pedro cacti, but what about for us Yankees?  Looking up info on Ethno Botanicals can be real research that can and usually does, last for days.......Only to later find out that the plant you purchased, picked, ate or smoked, does absolutely nothing for the enlightened horror fiend, and or could be harmful to house pets.  I need some tips in this area.

I have some experiance with Salvia D. but absolutely cannot find out how toxic it is to pets (who constantly eat my plants), and how hard it is to get it to grow indoors.  A lot of the info on the net isn't quite credible. Most sites have hundreds of diverse ways to prepare ingredients once you "do" find something. Then again, most of that info is just full of shit. Info for Datura and Nightshade seems even less credible in preparations.  None of the "better" sites such as Bouncing Bear Botanicals can give me answers to my questions. Pictures of any of the plants on the web are radically different as well.  Examples could include anything from pictures of Indian Paintbrushes to Milkweed. So how the Hell do you know what to pick?  In situations such as these, what is a horror freak to do?

If pot was legal I could grow a whole shitload of that I'm sure, but it's not legal (and too risky to raise due to 50 interference).  Homemade wine is great untill you overshoot the ingrediants and knock yourself out.  Making movies more interesting isn't my only motive though, being an herbalist or alchemist also just seems to be quite spiritual as well (at least under certain circumstances) and for certain situations.

So...............if you have some tips on great legal herbs that get you stoned and won't kill "fluffy," please shoot me a line for some info, tips and possible pictures of what I'm looking for. I'm only interested in serious buzz makers. None of this nutmeg, primrose and catnip shit.Cool
