Ok, in reality as December 2012 draws near, IF the end of the world doesn't come (many people may still think it will be coming around that date either way).........what changes are likely to happen in society, as that date approaches?

Even bland rumor can affect the stock market in major ways.  People get nervous, they sell.  Big wigs that own 80%+ of corporations sometimes believe in 2012 calendar or folklore or superstitions etc. Meaning they don't always base their actions on already proven facts, but who's to say one or two won't just sell out some major blue chip corporations the month before? That might maybe make the market crash?

Will people be buying more canned goods the months previous? Stocking up on gas, generators, water or anything like that?

Are your actions or habits going to change slightly as that date approaches? What part of your life do you think, however small, you would change or do differently.................just in case it was the end of the world?
