I have been absent from the fear as of late. There are a few reasons for this, which I am going to try to explain here.

A friend of mine has cancer, really bad. He texted recently after an appointment and asked me to come visit him so he could talk about the appointment. I went to his house and he was on the floor, not breathing and his eyes rolled back in his head. I had to call an ambulance and perform cpr. When he was revived enough to talk, he told me that the doctor had given him less than two months to live, and that he didn't want to go through all the pain of the treatments anymore. I've been spending a lot of time with him since it happened.

After this happened, I got a call letting me know that my grandfather was in the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital here. He is in congestive heart failure. I've been visiting him each and every day, because time is precious with him.

Now, for what's going on otherwise. I've been selected to do a makeup project that is pretty damn big. Kim Poirier (from the 04 Dawn of the Dead remake) is going to be one of the main characters in the film and I have been doing not only the makeup for this project, but I have been also working on costuming and set design. Mid-July is when everything should fall into place and we have one day with Ms. Poirier. That's also the day that I get to make up 40 zombies in 4 hours (lol). 6 minutes a person? I can do it! :)

Between being busy with that, visiting others, taking care of my children and my own health, I have been a very busy woman.
