Hey everyone, I'm wondering what it is about your most favorite horror movie(s) that make them so special? What is it about your favorite that makes it your favorite?

 For me, it's the John Carpenter The Thing, and the isolation, paranoia and weirdness of the characters, as well as the technical stuff like the FLAMETHROWERS(!) that makes it my favorite.
