I liked both of the movies......they didnt scare me at all. But the only thing I dont like about the second 1 is that Sara Michelle Gellar.......or whatever her name is dies in sort of the beginning........

But this happens in most sequels, yes? Look at Alien3 or Nightmare on Elm Street where the survivors of one film are killed off immediately in the next. This is pretty much a staple of the original Ju-On films as well, where secondary characters from one film wind up being the main course of the next. I can see how you don't like it, but surely it wasn't unexpected?

welll....I agree with you guys...except I wasent that crazy about the second one...I thought it was a little confusing at times, mabye even hard to follow. Sara should of survived...thats for sure, her being the only link to the first one and all....but what can ya do...I myself was disapointed...I loved the first one....went to see it in the theater...scared the shit out of me at times...mainly b/c of the fact that there wasent any background music to warn you...didnt get all creeped out this time around though....

From the Grudge,Ringu,Tale of two sisters & so many other asian horror films getting to look all the same with the pale girl with black long hair that covers their faces is there anything else that can more original than this what is worst US making remakes & sequels for these PG-13 horror films that gets the teens attention just have to say good horror films most of the time are the R-Rated bloody ones.

i was just plain bored
fell asleep ont eh first one on 4 different occasions
and the second i have yet to make an attempt to watch but it looks pretty crappy
