I'm filled with a lot of gratitude that this wasn't the movie that introduced me to A-Horror. I may have given up on it entirely if it had. I think either 'A Tale of Two Sisters' or 'The Eye' is going to be next on my must-see list.

whispering corridors is defo not a gateway film to Asian horror & this is an example of what quite alot of Asian can be like SLOW MOVING, i brought the DVD & the rest in this collection the rest are memento mori/wishing stairs & voice
i hope you havent seen the remakes because that might spoil these (only a lil bit) the eye is my favourite asian ghost story & a tale of two sisters is basicly one of the most popular Asian films out there BUT with tale you have to pay close attention (just a heads up)
Are any of the sequels any good?
That was one of the reasons I watch WC1 in the first place. I noticed there were four sequels. And I've been told they're not related in terms of story. So are any of the sequels worthwhile?

I would put these on hold untill you get more settled into Asian shiz, but out of the franchise check wishing stairs next then memento mori
