i really thought that this movie was going to be scary but i was wrong. it was actually horribly depressing. i almost wish i never have watched it. the one scary thing about it was how cut-throat, mean, and uncaring most of the students were. if anyone has watched this film, what are your opinions on it?

I've managed to get all 3 in the Whispering Corridors Trilogy (Also known as High School Horror Stories: Whispering Corridors, Memento Mori, and Wishing Stairs). They are the typical sad ghost stories I see a lot of lately, like Pulse. At least the third one had a "is there a ghost or just a crazy person" vibe that made it different. There really wasn't a lot of haunting in Memento Mori, as it seemed to mostly just show the budding relationship between the two girls, and how it was affecting the third. Depressing, and hardly scary, yet if you like that kind of movie, it is well crafted. I would consider it more drama than horror.

IS it worth watching It's been sitting on my shelf for a couple months now and I havent gotten around to watching it.

Sure, since you own it anyway, watch it. Just don't expect to be scared. It's more of a coming of age drama like Stand By Me than a horror movie, though there IS a ghost in it, but its more like being haunted by a memory or regret.
