Although I heard some mixed opinions and my wife did not feel for this movie at all I really loved this one. The plot development is just a bit slow in the bginning but it unravels a great story with one of the best twists of all time. Also this is probably one of the most original and unusual stories period.
Uzumaki (2000)
very bizzare film but I enjoyed it alot especially when you think your mind is playing tricks on you by seeing spirals in the background.
Uzumaki (2000)
It gave me a headache, but i still loved it, i thought it was top notch.
Why can't american films be good?!
Uzumaki (2000)
Thought it was a great flick myself
Uzumaki (2000)
A very wierd movie,I liked it even m cousin who normally hates Asian horror movies liked this one.
Uzumaki (2000)
nice! that's always good to get a person who doesn't like something to like it!
Uzumaki (2000)
I guess the movie was to give us a field in a new cult or new terrors from common everyday items. The spirl I guess defines the logic of hyponsis, or illusion of some sort like for example, when you fear something, you usually would see stuff that normal people would not see.
Uzumaki (2000)
I thought this movie was pretty interesting when I first saw it. Then I read the manga and I have to say that the movie does the storyline no justice. There's so much more they could've done with that. After you've read the manga, watch the movie again and you'll realize that there are a lot of things that just arent explained in the movie that are really important to the storyline. You can probably find the manga online. VERY good read. I read somewhere that it is the best horror manga ever to come out. I would definitely agree with this myself. The author, Junji Ito, does some pretty good stuff. But I just get this awesome feeling when I read Uzumaki. 10 out of 10
Uzumaki (2000)
okay, likde this movie. enjoyed the spirals in the background, the weird contortion deaths and such, my only grief was....what the hell was it? exactly? the reporter guy seemed to be onto something about serpents and the pond and ancient relics then...
what? i was expecting some, albiet crazy, off the wall, explanation. anyone else feel let down?
Uzumaki (2000)
I felt let down, like i said before, it gave me a headache!
Uzumaki (2000)
It was decent. Not as weird as "Suicide Circle"....that was just ODD! Nothing beats "Battle Royale" for me as my fave Asian film.
