Yay Im the first to post! Anyway, I dont really have a lot to say about Mel except that she is Sage's girlfriend, and obviously very worried about her, but not anyone else.

She says she doesnt know any of the others only saw them on a site and they were burried too. her brother said he knew them and went to school with them (OMG clue????)
Isn't it strange that Travis knows all of these people, but has never told Melanie that he knows them and that they are his friends. As far as Melanie knows, Travis only knows Sage, just like her.This has made Travis my 1 suspect from the beginning.Also, in the "Running The Bases" video, Travis was very adament (sp?) about Melanie not going to the ball game. Yes, he doesn't want his sister to be with Sage, but i think it is also because he doesn't want Melanie to meet the others.

Excellent thinking. Also, before going in to get the gun, Travis talks to Tommy how they'll be able to watch the video over and over again, like they are playing a game together and perhaps have been for awhile as Tommy let's Travis videotape his birthday gift giving to Becca. Perhaps they were already planning something interesting, but Tommy's suicide attempt made it go far worse.
Wow, Melanie shocked the hell out of me breaking into Hayden's house and all. She really grew some balls, didn't she!?! LOL
I just had to laugh when Travis was talking about getting out of there. He really laid it on thick didn't he? Trying to make Melanie believe that he was scared and didn't want to get caught! We all know he just didn't want her to find Tommy in the house! Obviously, Travis knew he was there.
And now we knew what several people have already thought...Tommy and Hayden are brothers.
It occurred to me to check on this before, but only just got around to it now.
Travis lists Melanie's afflictions as anxiety, paranoia, chronic headaches and sleeplessness. Disassociative Identity Disorder (known commonly as 'multiple personality disorder' and often wrongly labeled as schizophrenia) is a condition defined by one person having two or more distinct and separate mental processes which are dissociate of each other. Among the symptoms of DID are anxiety, phobias and panic attacks, severe headaches, and psychoactive substance abuse. Sleeplessness is not a classic symptom, but is known to accompany conditions similar to DID.
We may have a few Melanies. And, since Travis says these traits run in the family, a few Travises.
