I think there's a history too. That might be why they're buried together. They might just have ended up together by process of elimination, though. FOFW gets this cool idea for linking two coffins together, where both will fill with water unless the other one gets closed, and THAT one's filled with electrical wires... it's clever torture for the one who has to decide to close off the coffin and drown the other. Can't be Becca, because she's gotta be above ground... can't be Curtis, because the dirt/medicine torture is reserved for him... can't be Sage, because it's better torture for her to be alone... so it's down to Wylie and Rick.
I think Rick's gonna get fried... we see as much in the preview video. Couldn't happen to a better person, ha ha.

Yeah i thought that he was going to fill the tank (but i didnt know that rick could close it off) and then at some point both of them would get fried. But now im thinking maybe its one of those situations that If one died the other would live. Like maybe he wouldve stopped the water if rick let it go and he ended up dying instead and then wylie would live a little bit longer.

Perhaps it symbolized his power came from a bigger source, through "strings attached" and wires.
He had a trust fund and that was his power and the only thing that interested those who hung around him. Everyone knew it. He had a house near the beach, his own pool, and he had a large source of electrons flowing from his trust fund.
