BLACK AND WHITE HORROR

I know some fans do not go back and look at the foundation of horror, others revel in it. Like many things, sometimes the basics are the best. Sometimes you have to have an eye for it, an appreciation of nostalgia, an historians type of understanding of time, place, behavior. There are a lot of treasures in the past. From the first full length horrors like DER GOLEM, NOSFERATU, THE CABINET OF DR. CALIGARI to later creations like FRANKENSTEIN, DRACULA, THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON to the less seen and less appreciated like CALTIKI THE IMMORTAL MONSTER, TERROR IS A MAN, COSMIC MONSTERS, IT ! THE TERROR FROM BEYOND SPACE.
