The Bride Of Frankenstein

The Bride Of Frankenstein

For me personally this is my number one fav of all of Universal's monster classics. I love the photography and the atmosphere of this film, along with the German inspired sets. Karloff is of course top notch. A true ageless classic of the macabre.

I don't like the fact that it is couched with this Lord Byron Mary Shelly trash. They need to just get on with the movie itself.

Other than that, the stuff is pretty good. You know what is coming, and yes, it definitely comes in the last scene or two. The miniature castle collapse is amusing.

The Bride of Frankenstein is indeed one of those endearing classics that ought to be in any serious horror fans collection.

The original is still my favorite I agree the begining with Mary Shelly - intro to the story killed me + some of dr Pretorius I sure I spelled that one wrong creations were a little to cutesy, but Karloff portrayal of the monster is unbelievable. I still love this one what a classic

The groom or the bride?

The bride was alright, but her scream is one of the worst. Shoot. This movie is some good stuff. Overacting by Lord Byron and all.
