Dr. Terrors House Of Horrors

Dr. Terrors House Of Horrors

The Cryptkeeper's picture

This was Amicus' first horror anthology film with director Freddie (Dracula Has Risen From The Grave, Tales From The Crypt) Francis at the helm, along with a fine cast. This film is beautifully shot and the stories are well executed IMHO.

About 5 men on a train along with a sixth who calls himself Dr. Schreck (Peter Cushing) who has taro cards that tells them their future!

One of my all-time favorite classics, thoughts?

Amicus had some really good anthology horror shows and were only overshadowed by Hammer films. I think this is more likely due to Hammer being more prolific in producing horror films than Amicus. This by no means makes Amicus less of classic horror film producer. I've always enjoyed Amicus's horror films and try to collect them as they come out on DVD.
