where has all the love gone ?,..in the 80's film makers loved thier low budget children,.the films that they created were made with genuine interest for both the movie and the fans who wanted to see them.,..
not alway original but definatly made by people who cared with both story and the fan base they were made for.,..can we please return to this ?,.don't misunderstand me i love jason,..freddy,.myers,.leatherface and the list goes on ,..but how about something new and innovative, not more remakes and sequels .
for every friday the 13th there was a prom night or terror train,.for every halloween there was a april fools day or my bloodly valentine.,..let's not remake black christmas but instead give back to the fans the same thing they give to the industry.,..respect.
remember WE are the people your making these films for,if you don't care why should we ?,..don't use horror fans to make a quick buck and move on ,..instead think of horror as a long term investment,..we'll still be here waiting for the good films made by those who care,..but not if the industry continues to treat us as only a way to make a quick dollar
starring jack palance and martin landau. this movie is were they got the idea about the PREDATOR movies. alien trophy hunter arrives on earth to stalk humans as prey. check it out, if you can find it.
I think the best horror movies came from the 80s. I remember when I was a little girl, we always rented horror movies every weekened & they were awesome. I can't even remember the name of a lot of them (But I remember what they were about!) since they were random horror movies instead of the popular series like Freddy, Jason, Michael, etc. I wish I could find some of them!

we as fans should not go see these lame movies there making now it might send a message or maybe not but it.s worth a try at least. I will do it shit I already am!
Besides the 70's the 80's was indeed the best decade for horror, no doubt about it. Miss those days of 'R' rated movies, had to get carded or have someone of over the age of 16 to accompany you in to the theatre, etc., etc.,...

Amen!!!! Loved most of these, especially The Changeling. That scene with the ball bouncing down the stairs is a classic. But one of my favorite 80's campy horrors was left off of this list. Anyone remember "Killer Clowns from Outer Space"?

Ah...Sleepaway Camp...that was a good one Lots of skin and plenty of gore ! Two of my fav things in a movie
ah killer klowns from outer space. i also love the changeling. the 70's and 80's were the best horror decades imo. definite recommended reading material is horror films of the 1970's and of the 1980's by John Kenneth Muir. Great Books!
