An underwater eathquake awakens/releases a colony of prehistoric monsters (killer grubs) that takes revenge on the humans they encounter.

Hereagain, not one that has won any Oscars, but a good classic for the "Giant Monster vs. Humans" type of films from the 50's.

Weren't they giant snails? Anyway great life sucking creature film. Probably the most memorable movie of it's type. Nice pictures!

What made this a great horror film was the fact that it starred Tim Holt...real film fans will remember Tim Holt as the co-star of "Treasure of Sierra Madre"...one of Bogart's greatest films...directed by the GREAT John Houston...anyone know what I'm talkin about???...Blood D?

...and quite possibly, the only horror movie that takes place near the Salton Sea!!! LOL!
