Anyone remember these?? They were supposed to warn us of the dangers in life, and making wrong choices.Like going off in a car with strange boys, etc.Of course the most infamous classic was "Reefer Madness" a scare film about Marijuana Use. On Demand has a few of these that are hilairious to watch!! They are in:Cutting Edge>Something Wierd>School Scare Films.Anyone else remember some of the topics??

I have a bunch of them I bought on E-BAY. Boy I don't know if the government was gullible or if we were. Back then it seemed like if you smelled alcohol you would end up dead in a car accident and if you kissed someone you'd end of pregnant. And don't forget those hygene films

They released a DVD a while back that showcased those gory driver's ed films. Don't remember the title, tho.

Yeah...those On Demand shorts are funny...creepy....but funny.

The ones they have up on "On Demand" right now aren't as funny as the ones they had awhile ago. They had one that showed the dangers of everything from running with scissors to going near the edge of a cliff. The scene of a boy falling off the cliff -- with an obvious dummy bouncing off every rock all the way down -- was hilarious, especially since a cop rescues the kid afterwards and all he has is a broken arm!

Unfortunately, the "Something Wierd" section of "On Demand" isn't what it used to be. Now they only show shorts and cartoons, whereas before they had a handful of wierd feature films, including some Herschel Gordon Lewis (one of which was "Blood Feast"). I wondered whether that was too good to last...

I noticed the same thing with "Something Weird"'s selection. I was disappointed to see this recently. Wish they'd bring back some of those odd movies. Since I already had "Blood Feast" on DVD, I never watched it. I was hoping they'd show more of his films like "Something Weird" or "A Taste of Blood."

I taped a couple of these flicks, including a particularly good one called "Axe" and the enjoyably silly "Frankenstein's Castle of Freaks." I'm glad I did now. Nobody else shows these flicks, few video rental places have them around here, and if you want to see them you pretty much have to take a chance and buy them. They were really doing a service by showing them On Demand. It's a drag that they stopped it.

I can remember our driver's ed teacher making us watch movies with really gory accidents and everyone had to look away. Not me of course. I've always been a freak.
