Bella is definitely the bigger icon most recognized for the role & he's one of the main actors that got me into horror films to begin with. Though I still love C. L.'s portrayal. "Bullets can not harm me!" is still the first line that always pops into my head anytime I hear his name.

I love them both Bela is the bigger icon but I like Christopher Lee's performances better and alot of that is due to Hammer direction. It would have been very cool to see Bela in a Hammer film

If it wasnt for Lugosi, really, Dracula wouldnt be as big as it is now...everone is really trying to outdo Lugosi. And though it is cheesy now, Bela Lugosi's Dracula is a major classic becuase I think, it was the film that made Dracula famous.

I recently went online and looked over the titles of all the Dracula movies, I was surprised to see that I remember most of them. Christofer did do a fine job as the Count as have many other actors. With that being said, I still have to say that the standard for the infamous Count Dracula was set by Bela, he was and still is the Count.
