I just watched the movie SOYLENT GREEN last night- very cool movie- with CHARLETON HESTON- who kicked ass in this movie- as he does in every movie. I liked this movie- but it was a little depressing and scary in the way that it really makes you think about how we take care of our planet.
Re: THE MOVIE SOYLENT GREEN
Well, I AGREE with the POLLUTION CONCEPT but NOT with the Global Warming scenario. Move is 38 years old and we never seem to move forward or make a difference according to nay sayers. I NEVER see a positive report but I think thats so "we" dont become complacent. Of course, some are just agenda driven and want to hide the truth in BOTH direction. Loved the goodbye scene with the late, GREAT, forgotten, EDWARD G. ROBINSON.
@ HF RE: Soylent Green
I totally agree with you. WELL SAID.
THE MOVIE SOYLENT GREEN
The movie SOLENT GREEN was based on a book called MAKE ROOM MAKE ROOM by author HARRY HARRISON. If you are interested in reading this story abouut the population on our little planet. The movie was very good, and designed to make people think. Sounds like this hit the mark with you, glad you enjoyed it. Another movie designed like this is the movie GATTACA not horror but another commentary on our society.
