Anybody else pick up this recently released DVD of this classic '80's flick? I did, then spent 12 hours at work doing a Lovecraftfest. I only wish they would hurry up and release Lurking Fear.

I love this film. I fondly recall watching it play numerous times in a badly edited version during the 80s on WGN Channel 9 Chicago (lived in the middle of rural nowhere-surrounded by corn on all sides & closest neighbor about a half mile away).

bought the dvd last month slowly being able to faze out the lovecraft vhs tapes i have. And if there is a dvd wish list I want cast a deadly spell released on dvd

Loved it, really liked the base for it! Not to mention its got jeffrey combs in it my all time fav horror icon next to cambell

Weird and wonderful stuff -- one half the twisted imagination of HPL; one half the twisted imagination of Stuart Gordon. Add a dash of humor, and the result is a glory, slimy, sometimes funny good time.
And... as of this date (June 14) it's available from Amazon.com for only 7.49! Interested parties are advised to jump on this deal ASAP, before it goes away.
