Pumpkinhead

Pumpkinhead

This movie was an intersting one for the simple fact that the title and premise are fucking odd. The movie, which stars Lance Henriksen is a classic horror movie that seems is ignored and forgotten. Maybe we can thank the horrible sequals that ruined this promising franchise.

Thoughts, guys and ghouls?

well the original wasn't bad but almost all the sequels were horrible (and not in a good way),.pumkinhead :blood fued was about the only watchable one,.at least the creature looked good.but your right another decent franchise down the tubes.

This is one of my favorite movies!!! I agree about the sequels-no good. I own this one and when ever it's on TV I watch it. I also like it because of Lance Henricksen.

Was the Bloody Fued the last one with the hillbilly families that had to get together in the end to fight the monster? I thought the premise was good but was terribly disappointed with each sequel that came after. But I did find a pumpkinhead doll someplace and gave it to my nephews to play with.

I really still like part 1 as the best...it really gave you the insight of why the creature came about!

the pumpkinhead movie is the first horror movie that I saw and started me in the collecting and watching the horror movie fan I am today. It introduced a monster born in vengence and showed a thing that really can't be completly kill off. It is vengence it can not be stop. Just slowed down, or move in another direction. Now the sequels some were bad part 2 was pretty good part 3 was allittle bad with a cgi monster now part 4 blood fued got back to the oringnal movie concept and no cgi monster and show more killing with the creature and more of what the first one showed too.

I saw this movie when it first came out. I was only 5 at the time. I love it. I watch it whenever it is on TV or free on On Demand and I always watch it on Halloween. I can watch it over and over again. I love how Pumpkinhead is more of an anti-hero than monster. It is a good twist on character perception and expectation. I think that is one of the reasons why I love this movie and the whole idea of Pumpkinhead so much.

I do agree that the sequals were terrible, especially Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings. What a god aweful movie.

It is a really good premise for a series, but they were all downhill after the first movie. Which is really ashame.

Would anyone go to see a Pumpkinhead remake?

I would.

Boring as hell, not even Lance Henriksen, whom I HIGHLY admire, could save it.
