Rocky Horror

When cult comes to mind, does The Rocky Horror Picture Show, pop into anyone elses mind? Yes, its not extreme gore or ancient evil but its still gives some of us the same feeling of sick, twisted pleasure.

Anyone else go out into the night in fishnets, highheels, golden shorts or a white bra?

Never did, and I never will. But then again, I am not gay.

now, now. I'm not gay either, but I spent many drunk Friday nights back in high school chucking toast at the screen and toilet papering the back row. It's all about excess, baby, and excess is goooood. Just ask any good Roman.

wow...maybe i missed the memo that stated you have to be gay or transgender to enjoy Rocky Horror...interesting. I'm neither, not that it would be bad to be, and i watch the movie often and consider it a fave. Cheers!

If you cannot enjoy Tim Curry in Fishnets, well, you must have issues. Rocky is an original, unforgettable clt classic. And, oh that Susan Sarrandon, I could be bicurious myself. Immortals have lots of time on their hands.

I never said you had to be gay to enjoy Rocky Horror (although I am sure that it helps)... I just don't think that dressing up in womens undergarments is a way to express your heterosexuality...

I'll tell you this much: The only reason I cannot stand Rocky Horror is because I CANNOT stand musicals. Musicals of any kind, regardless of genre. I hate Grease. I hate Phantom of the Opera. I hate Disney movies. It has nothing to do with one's sexual orientation. If I wanted to listen to a bunch of crappy singing then I would go to a Pentacostal church....

Ha! If the Roman empire were still around, then perhaps your theory would work. I happen to believe that excess is what brought on the fall of the Roman Empire.

But I get your point. To each their own...

Own the anniversary edition and I sheepishly confess to having gone dressed as Magenta once. I love the whole cut loose audience feel to these. Too much fun.

Wow...playing a role for a movie/play expresses the actor's heterosexuality...interesting.
