This movie is fantastic for anyone looking for something truly original and just bizarre. It was directed by Re-Animator's producer Brian Yuzna. The main characters name is Billy Warlock, and you'll probably find yourself talking about the "shunting" for a while after the movie.

I loved this movie. I liked how it had this whole 'gory' feeling but without the blood. The whole sexualized anthropomorphism of the whole affair was quite appealing, even through I thought it would be better if the main character--

--was found to be insane instead of dealing with an actual menace. The addition of a Fight Club style plot twist would have made this movie a lot more effective. But Screaming Mad George worked wonders on this flick.

i agree the special effect alone are well worth watching the movie for,..especially the fathers "shunt" scene at the end
