forget about politics, you have to admit that it is funny that lloyd was class mates with oliver stone, george bush, and i think he was roomates with tommy lee jones

Tentative release date for the MOTHERS DAY REMAKE is April 1, 2011. With Rebecca DeMornay as MOTHER (I think she is way too pretty and still hot BUT, she does a great job acting both as good AND as looney bad guys, and theres always makeup effects.) Frank Grillo from THE GATES (I believe he is a member here incognito) Shawn Ashmore from Smallville.
Actually, just found pix and DeMornay will NOT look like the CRAZY old lady from the first which is a BUMMER! At her age DeMornay is still a beauty and I get the worrisome, disturbing feeling that they are just gonna make this a modern psycho movie rather than the over the top MADNESS which was enjoyable about the first. So I guess Queenie WONT be making an appearance. . . at least not as nightmarish a one as she did in the first.
Mother's Day remake
It would be nice to see this movie brought up to date. Alot of good movies came out of that era, but the clothes and hairstyles just crack me up.

Mothers Day is being remade by Bouseman, the guy from SAW but Im not holding hope. He claims he wants to "elevate" the movie from horror to psychological thriller. Sounds incredibly LIMP to me.

Comon, you said that about Wolfman remake and Nightmare remake, but once you watched them it turned out you loved them!!!! Didn't you call the wolfman remake an Epic Film!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I NEVER said anything bad about THE WOLFMAN other than the poor choice of Del Toro both before AND after. Like Adrien Brody in most of his films, in THIS one, Del Toro wasnt a good choice and looked out of place compared with the others. NOES I never said anything bad cause I was never a big fan after the first one. Go on. .. . . . . . check the discussions.. . . . . . LOL. . .
