Worst Old Horror Flicks!

To start, I absolutely love The Slime People and feel that it is terribly underrated.  It's one of thgose movies that should be a cult classic, but the following just isn't there.  Also just avoid Tarantula.  you get better (and cheaper) special effects in Bert I. Gordon's Earth vs. The Spider

It's easiest to say that the worst old horror movies are the ones that would have been forgotten if not for runs Mystery Science Theatre 3000 (and maybe other horror host shows) that brought films like The Creeping Terror into the light.  In the case of Manos: The Hands of Fate, possibly the worst movie ever made, MST3K saved it from being lost forever.

As for the worst of the worst, I'll just throw out The Sound of Horror, with an invisible dinosaur terrorizing people in a cabin.  An interesting premise, but the movie will put you to sleep.  If you look around, you may get some clips of the "special" effects.

it's not the special effects that get me (i haven't even seen that far.) i know they didn't have what we have now. but it's not that, it's barbara. the actress wasn't that good

I just read this whole thread and couldnt even focus! Yall can bite my ass! Godzilla, Mothra, Gigan, King Ghidorah, Rodan those two Gragachutan thingies one Green one red! ACK Im mortified that these movies that I grew up with and scared the hell out of me as a kid has been classifed as bad by my peers here!
