An aspiring college film maker sets out to find a copy of a long lost film called The Hills Run Red. It's supposed to be the scariest film ever made. With his girlfriend and bestie in tow, he locates the director's estranged daugter and enlists her to help him find the original shooting location and maybe even a copy of the film. Little does he know that maybe some things are better left buried because The Hills Run Red might not have been a movie afterall.
This movie is sadistic, twisted, gorey, and about a thousand degrees of awesome!
At first, I thought the "killer" in this movie was ridiculous. His name is Babyface and if you hear his rattle, it's too late. Hahaha. Funny Shit! But his back story was interesting enough and everything was so awesome that I was able to look beyond the cheese points of the movie.
I know this is a terrible review, but sometimes I find it better to let a movie speak for itself. I feel giving away any form of spoiler would be an injustice to this grotesque work of art.
Everyone should just watch it!

THe neme of the killer, babyface reminds me of dollface off of Twisted Metall Black the game. There was also a movie called Midnight Movie where if you watch the film the killer drags you into the film or comes out of the film and its alout 7 or 8 people in a old movie theater watching it..
Very good twist but if this movie is as good as that one i will definately watch it. thanks.
The Hills Run Red
I liked it for just the pure savageness. Was a good little twist in there. Some gruesome deaths. Ending was nice. All in all, would be enjoyed by most horror fans.

I like when she mistakes him for a mentally incapacitated nutbag and starts to sing and he tells her, "you can sing if it will make you feel better". . . . talk about a kick in the balls ! I also liked that just like in real life. You shoot or stab them, they die. Not EVERY killer is an indestructible JASON or MYERS. Gets ridiculous after awhile. . maniacle SUPERMAN bullshit.

loved the plot, the torture devices, and the gore, though it could have been better. 6 1/2
