If you guys get a chance to watch the extras on this they have a cool thing on the use of lighting in that movie.

The director said he used a lot of orange lighting because he said it is the color of panic any y'all heard of this?

i have the dvd but am not to keen on the film so i havent seen the extras i will check it out & get back to you about what i thought

That's a pretty cool thing to say, 'orange is the color of panic'.. It did give it a creepy atmosphere.

I have heard this the use of the color orange, true story this is why McDonalds used the color so they could move people out faster.....

this was the only exorcism movie that i saw that really told a valid story of what really happened. it's based on the exorcism of anneliese michel.

I dont know about orange but for CLAUSTROPHOBICS, RED is the color that causes problems. It WONT start stuff unless on a subconcious level but with certain OTHER factors, usually any combination of TWO factors will trigger an episode even out in the open.

i thought this movie did have some scary parts a little creepy. the courtroom drama was a little much. the part where she talks to the virgin mother (hear say!!!)  i think this movie should be an embarrassment for the church and the priest. i felt it was more about what the priest was trying to do and the lawyer who said she was being stalked by some unseen force. really! come on.  i think she was just facing the consequences of freeing a serial killer that boosted her career.  

 how long can someone go with out eating or drinking before the body gives out, and giving an exorcism to someone whos having sezures. it's no wonder she died being told your possessed, your possessed!  i think he did kill her attempting to save her soul. and we all know she did know how to speak foreign languages. so the movie started about the church and the priest and the lawyer and ended about the church, priest, and the lawyer.

and still no answers for emily!   BULLSHIT!!

Its a sad ending to what hollywood cashes in on. We neve get a difinitive answer in horror anymore. Its like were dogs watching a ball thrown in the air. Even the saw movies couldnt give us an ending that we could consider the end. but on the other note.. Firday the 13th series give us plenty of endings that never ended so im not sure that its a bad thing.
