This has probably been said before, but what's your fear (phobia)? What are you most afraid of, and why are you afraid of it?
I'm afraid of spiders . . . Strangley enough, that's the only bug I'm afraid of. The reason why I'm afraid of spiders is because, when I was little I fell through some rotten floor boards at my grandparent's house. When I pulled myself out, my legs were covered with spiders! So, let's hear your story . . .
Re: WHAT'S YOUR FEAR?
spiders and needles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: WHAT'S YOUR FEAR?
Since FEAR CLinic we can safely say we now FEAR EVERYTHING...but mostly the bugs in Episode 3. Poor Jackie.
Re: WHAT'S YOUR FEAR?
I hate myself at times, lol. I guess I'd have to say...being attacked at work or something. Monsters are all well and good in the movies, but there are madmen everywhere in real life.
Yeah, people scare me most.
Re: WHAT'S YOUR FEAR?
not living past the age my mother died. biggest fear.
Re: WHAT'S YOUR FEAR?
My Mom is 74, I doubt I'll ever see that...so I know what you mean.
Re: WHAT'S YOUR FEAR?
Plus, I'm going to be 41...that's a whole other deal.
Re: WHAT'S YOUR FEAR?
i loathe bugs, not exactly afraid of em. but i am scared of heights (not falling, just the being high up part.
im not afraid of dying just how ill die. there was a police shoot out i barely missed yesterday and it scared me so bad i was shaking for hours. i had just come out of the smoke shop, crossed the street, and gone about half a block when i heard 6 shots. some guy tried to carjack a jeep cherokee and there was a cop close by. the cop told him to stop and the guy pointed his gun at the cop. so the cop unloaded. when i go i dont want it to be something like that.
Re: WHAT'S YOUR FEAR?
I am an ichthyophobic (afraid of fish).
I can't recall exactly why I fear them, but still. I think it started with one of those weird white flat fish that lay in the sand and you never see them there. I might have stepped in one or something...
Anyway, I hate fish...
I'm scared of the ocean, are you?
I had a run in with a shark when I was younger and ever since then I won't go near any body of water larger then a swimming pool.
Re: Scared Of The Ocean
A lot of people are afraid of water. The ocean isn't really scary to me because I can usually see what's in the water. Murky lakes that have been polluted are scary for a lot of people for legit reasons such as mutated fish / animals and exotic fish / animals / reptiles that are dumped in fresh water and live. One of the Faces Of Death movies shows this chick that was attacked from a mutated eel in a lake up north in the U.S. (didn't say which one but I have my guesses). Anyways, the thing injected toxins and even though a cop cut it off before the ambulance got there, she died in the process. There are sharks, eels and alligators that have adapted to the fresh water murky lakes and winters.
