I think some are I have a hard time hearing the movies but in my case it's a VERY loud 3 year old..If I have it set up on my tv then it usually comes on...it's a crap shoot some are some aren't

all movies should have captions.. and put money into getting a good caption service too.

We are in complete agreement on this. My hearing is just fine (if you don't count the few years I bartended at a karaoke bar) but I still put the captions on when I watch television and I get tired of crappy captions or just plain gobbledeegook altogether.

i also think DVD should have subtitles in english.. along with CC.. cause while CC are good they aren't the prettiest to look at(especially when it's all caps) .. so if your doing CC why not just do Subs as well

Oh yes, I love the english subtitles on DVD's. They aren't stuck in those ugly black boxes and it makes reading them that much easier. Good point!
