To me they go hand and hand.I'm a huge metal hard and alt rock fan and i'm also a huge horror movie fan the aggression anger and dark themes of the music fits well with the movies.OH AND BY THE WAY WELCOME TO FEARNET ITS NICE TO SEE SOME FRESH BLOOD.
I think they go hand in hand as well. When Horror was in it's heyday back in the 80's metal was also a big part of that. Movies like "Trick or Treat" was all about the evil of metal music and was filled with posters of tons of metal bands in that kids bedroom. Good thing the world can be saved by "Skippy" from Family Matters hahaha!
But I don't think you have to be a metalhead to be a horror fan. But I think since a lot of metal tends to have dark subject matter and a "evil" type sound it fits well with horror in many cases.
horror movies, gore ohh I could watch that all day long and never get sick of it, Music on the other hand im extremly picky, its all about my mood...and if I do listen to any kind of industrial/metal...it has to be loud and in my ears...but if I happen to listen to it and loud (usually with headphones on) I feel better afterwards. But I have a very large genre of music that I love...
i luv scary ovies but hate creepy hard rock music
