Hello, everyone. I just joined, thought I'd take a moment to introduce myself . . . .
My name is James, and I've been a huge fan of horror since the age of four, when my father took my to the drive-in theater to see The Incredible Melting Man. A few of my favorite movies include: the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, John Carpenter's The Thing, Se7en, The Exorcist, The Exorcist III: Legion, David Cronenberg's The Fly, Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978), Audition, Uzumaki, Psycho (original), and Requiem For a Dream.
In addition to being a fan of horror movies, I'm also a voracious reader of horror/suspense, as well as a writer. My published books include Midnight Rain, The Wicked, and Night of the Loving Dead, with two more -- Animosity and The Forum (about a message board for serial killers! 
) --on the way later this year. My first short-story collection, People Are Strange, comes out next week, and I'm proud to announce that the film rights to my novel Animosity were recently optioned . . . wish me luck!

However, you can usually find copies ultra-cheap (as low as just a few cents) on places like Half.com, and Amazon.com (Used).

hello I'm kinda new here...I am a major horror movie fan obviously....um some of my favorite horror flicks are the whole nightmare on elm street movies, all of the child's play movies, stay alive, and the amiltyville horror. I like any kind of horror film...the bloodier the better!
