Ok, just watched Evil Dead 2 for the first time last night (yes I know I'm a little behind on that one). As fuckin wacked out crazy as that movie was I still definitely prefer the first Evil Dead.

to be honest mate i dont think there is a great deal in it but if i had to choose i think part 2 is slightly better my brother would pick part 3 army of darkness as his favourite of the bunch!

I prefer number ONE. I think that beloved actor Bruce Campbell went just a wee bit too over the top and zany in 2 and 1 tried to just be creepy. I prefer creepy to zany in a horror flick even if the zany has creepy moments. I KNOW that Sam Raimi tends to go for the goofy in many of his flicks AND I ENJOY THEM BUTTTTTTTT. . . . I prefer CREEPY.
