Watch it again, that's great she had multiple personalities, but there are scenes that physically did not make sense.
Particularly, when she goes down that long lonely road in the woods, look at where she was at and what they flash back to at the end, it made no sense. Based on this, total piece of crap, try some better editing next time people!
On a side note, I do have the High Tension wooden match books, and barb wire baseball bat wrapped keychain I got at a media show from Lionsgate.
For everyone who did not like this film,don't worry saw 4 comes out in 9 months and saw 5 comes out next halloween! Enjoy! so instead of worrying about the plot holes in high tension we can all concentrate on the 35 dead pigs coming in on pulley hooks in saw 3.That is some brilliant writing!

I thought there was good tension and some nice kills/gore until the wacky ending. But as another poster noted, the whole thing is in her mind because she's in the psych ward from the get-go.
This movie was garbage. There were more plot holes than Stephen Hawking could count. The big "surprise twist" ending seemed entirely tacked on after the fact, especially since they had spent the entire movie building in one direction and then WHAM!!!!! A completely unbelievable twist in a totally different direction. The twist was senseless and actually pointless because up to that point it was at least a watchable slasher/revenge movie. Personally I loved how the director tried to explain the whole thing in the commentary tracks and I don't think even he was buying that shit. If you can stand to watch this shit again or at least to go back and watch certain key parts, you will see that there is no way to support the big "twist".
It stuns me that anybody could actually think this movie was good.

I just finished watching it.
