I'm so pissed - I have been on the phone with Comcast since about 3:00 p.m. YESTERDAY, and I have yet to be able to get anything to work on Fear Net. This is my last ditch effort that maybe someone from Comcast will take note!
Fear Net shows up on 166 all right, but every category says "no titles available." Except for Japanese Horror which has two "Grudge" shows. THAT'S IT!
First Comcast said it was us and they needed to send a new signal to our converter box. Nothing. Then they said it wasn't working "but it is now." Nothing. Then they said it was a big problem for everyone but it would be up by 10:00 p.m. last night - nothing. Now it's 2:00 p.m. and still NOTHING. I've given up calling. I checked with two neighbors, and they can't get it either, so it isn't just me.
I kenw Richmond sucked, but this is ridiculous.
Everyone send "horror"ble thoughts out into the universe that we can get Fear Net SOON!!

Definitely sounds like a problem with Comcast and not your converter box, although anything is possible and Comcast will TELL you that it is your box and not a problem on their end. Have you tried asking others in your area if they are experiencing the same problem? That's the first step in troubleshooting....

Well that does suck but for some reason it shows up here as well go to your on demand (not from fearnet) then go to free movies, then scifi/horror and here where I live the movies are also there as well...hope that helps man......

Mmyers, I did try that. I looked here to see what movies are supposed to be airing, and then just went to regular On Demand to Sci-Fi/Horror, and none of those films are listed - just those two "Grudge" shows.
Blah....to have that commercial thrust in our faces all month long and then NOT be able to access it for Halloween...

Yes, two friends and three neighbors - nobody can get it. They haven't called Comcast because they don't really care about Fear Net. Guess I'll try calling again later tonight....

Boston area has the same "converter & signal" problem...and of course comcast will get right on it!!! Theyve been on it since Halloween!!!
