According to the Box Office Mojo Lionsgate has slated Saw IV for an October 26, 2007 release. We broke the news last week (here) that Joanna Daniel, the Writer and Director of the short horror film Red, is one of the lucky individuals working on a version of Saw 4 for Lionsgate. The plan is to prep up both Saw 4 and Saw 5 and have various scripts prepped. We'll keep you informed as news breaks.

Wow just....wow. I have admit I personally loved Saw 3. I was just begging there wouldn't be another. Anyone else have thoughts? If there is already a topic on this you may fillet me.
Saw IV
they're gonna keep on milkin it...
Saw IV
Uggggg...I walked out of Saw 3 with the satisfaction that the series was over and ending the series with a bang. Sigh...they are going to continue pumping out these sequels...why couldn't they let it end in style...
Saw IV
I completely agree. I'm just going to tell myself that the series is over. I won't be going to see another Saw movie unless forced(violently).
Saw IV
I wasn't too satisfied with the third. I'll be happy to give them another chance with a fourth.
Saw IV
wow. I really enjoyed 3. it was a lot better than 2 i though, it just seemed to be done better. i think theyd be better off letting the saw series end as a trilogy. where else could they possibly go with the series?
Saw IV
i definately agree with this as well. i hope it doesnt turn out like the friday the 13th movies, where they just randomly pump out another one just for the sake of more (as much as i love those movies, they are really bad). i'll be interested to see what the hell they try to do with a 4th one, but i have a feeling i'll leave the theatre wanting my money back
Saw IV
I'd make a joke but I'm afraid it would be suggestive of a spoiler...lol.
Saw IV
I haven't seen 3 yet. thought 2 was okay. thought the first one was great and would have really made an impact had no sequels been made, but I think we all know that that seems impossible anymore.
yeah, unfortunately they will keep milkin' it as long as they keep turning a profit. I think we can expect to see one every Halloween from here on out, until they run the series into the ground with overly complicated plots in an effort to keep trying to make the twists that the series is now known for.
it's destined to get ridiculous.
oh yes, there will be sequels.
Saw IV
I've only seen the first one but I would bet that there's going to be a new Saw every year (until it doesn't make any more money) just because how many people are turning that into a Halloween tradition?
Saw IV
god, they need to give it up already. the first one was pretty good, the second one sucked, and i haven't seen the third one. and now they're doing a fourth?! making 75 sequels to a movie with no real plot was cool in the '80s but now it p!e$ off.
