Does anyone remember this program? I used to enjoy those movies with my sister! They featured like 30 min. horror movies. Back then--they were awesome.

At least NIGHT GALLERY is out on DVD even if it is only the first season.
But no TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE on DVD anywhere.
Figures I had to loose SCI-FI in a downgrade of my cable TV services in order to save money. This happened right before SCI-FI started playing TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE.
Unfortunately I always found that the image quality of SCI-FI to be really horrible with my COMCAST DIGITAL CABLE and apparently this is a bigger issue as I have heard other people in various parts of the USA complain also about their SCI-FI channel quality.
In fact cable TV video quality (due to digital compression) is so bad anymore it seems only the HDTV channels give good (no compression aritfact) video. The sad truth of it is that the other non-HDTV channels would look SO much better if they raised the damn bitrate of the digital video. But then again we wouldn't have some 200 + odd channels.

That website mentioned above does have the complete run of TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE on sale on DVD but considering the whole thing is spread out on only 6 discs ... well ... I have an idea the quality is not going to be great.

I definitely remember Tales from the Darkside. As a matter of fact it was on for 3 Mondays in a row last month on SciFi. For whatever reason, SciFi took it off. Boy, was I heated about that.

My self I saw the movie based on the seires first..And some how didn't know the seires exisisted till just recently..But I love that kinda stuff and will watch it when ever I can...

Well,I know this has nothing to do with the series,but I did just purchase Tales From the Darkside the Movie on dvd.I believe we had KNB FX on this movie also.
