Before you laugh at me for posting this... I know that as a kid and person who watched horror movies has thought about it one time or another in their life... Okay maybe not... but I didn't want to be the only one. So... has anyone thought about it? And what would you be?
I would want to be a Vampire, it seems more sexual to me, and I don't think I would want all the strength and hair that a werewolf has... plus the attitude.
Vampire or Werewolf?
I would want to be a vampire, they seem alot more sexy to me and your right all that hair would be gross!
Vampire or Werewolf?
it goes far beyond gender. think about the stereotypical (not always true or flattering, but stereotypical) nature of male and female. male = testosterone, force, leader (of the pack), alpha male syndrome, competition, raw and primal urges, physicality, etc. female = manipulation, sensuality, emotion, grace, style, etc. with these basic stereotypes in place, it is rather obvious that men would be more inclined to the werewolf (a metaphor for the masculine beast that lies within?) and women more often choose vampire (by today's standards, the epitome of sensuality).
again, it is not the gender that determines which of the two a person will pick - notice that i chose vampire. it has more to do with the internal character of a person, where values and priorities are placed, and possibly the influence of genetics. i have a few friends, both male and female, who i would describe as having a very bestial presence about them, an aura that flows from the very core of their identity. it is no surprise that they prefer the werewolf over the vampire. i would say that i, on the other hand, give off more of a meek presence. i'm not generally one to jump into confrontations; i am anything but competitive. by very nature, i lean more toward a vampiric identity.
Vampire or Werewolf?
it entirely depends on what part of the world you are getting the old myths from. some of the old myths describe a vampire as a demon possessing a corpse that can only rise at night when a demon has power. others described vampires as undead creatures "born" when an evil man died. during the day, they were ordinary corpses, but they rose at night to prey on their living family members. in parts of Roumania, vampires were practically synonymous with witches who had their powers at all times, even in the daylight. but you are absolutely right. it wasn't until just recently, in the limelight of hollywood mostly, that the sun became death for a vampire.

Vampire or Werewolf?
I think that my choice would have to be a Vampire werewolf mix. The raw power of being able to tear someone apart, the fun of creeping thru the forests terrifying campers and howling at the moon on a hilltop all have its attractions.
On the off days, I would prefer to lounge in opulent surroundings, reading or conversing, oozing a certian grace and sexuality.
With modern genitics I could have it all!
Vampire or Werewolf?
vampire as my avatar points out not to mention werewolves arent the most intelligent creatures
Vampire or Werewolf?
Wow this is one that I've thought of many times over the years. It would have to be vampire. The mystique, the allure, the power, the raw sexuality.
Nothing at all against Lycans, but Vampires are it. Strong, fast, agile, beguiling...
Oh and think of all the women
Vampire or Werewolf?
Werewolf, hence I liked my pic so much. Plus like some others on here I've always liked wolves and dogs. So being half wolf half human would be cool!! I agree on the whole hangin as a human bistandered durin the day light hours, and scopin out a place to romp during the full moon night hours, that would be pretty wicked...Not to mention feelin the power of being a werewolve gave you..Me and my best friend grew up and always loved werewolf movies of anysort..FYI...A GREAT NOVEL series about Werewovles as well as vampires is out there!! Called Bitten by Kelly Armstrong, it gives u a neat look at Lycanthrapy, then in the other books you get a look into Vampirism and Witchcraft. Although for me the only two good ones were Bitten and the seqeul STOLEN...Check em out if ur a fan of either vamps or Lycans!!!
