Gerald's Game was good. But then he repeats himself alot. The Dark half and Secret Window was almost the same story.

The only book I really didn't like was the Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon--nothing but build-up and no real conclusion. I did just finish Lisey's Story--that was an awesome book.

You have appreciate King for his longevity and everything he has done for the industry in general. He may have made horror more commercial, but that just brought us a lot more to watch and read.

I have Lisey's Story next to my bed--I bought it the first week it was released, but just haven't gotten around to starting it.

I read Cell before it, and I hated the ending. I've actually read almosy everything he has written and own most of them as well.

With the exception of Salem's Lot, I liked his short stories better, like the Mist for instance. A lot of his short stories were better done and more original. His novels were a little too long and would have been better as short stories. In fact some of his short stories were turned into full length novels.

For every good/great book he writes 3 to 4 not so good ones. But I loved Cell. Happy to hear it will be a movie. Lisey's story was different and cool at the same time. And lastly I love his short story collections.
