Ultimate no budget movie
Great movie! I'm currently writing a spoof of this that has something other than zombies for the monstrous killers.
Ultimate no budget movie
Night of the Living Dead is one of my alltime favorites, But will y'all consider Peter Jackson's Bad Taste? It took four years of weekends due to everyone involved in the film-making had regular Mon-Fri jobs. One character had the unshaven look at the beginning of the film, an Jackson said he needed him to keep that look.....for 4 years. Your a regular guy, and your told you can't change the way you look for a near half-decade. I don't suspect anybody got paid a decent amount of money, either. Just something for you guys to think about....
Ultimate no budget movie
Perhaps everyone forgets that Night of the Living dead, the original, is and has been for some time PUBLIC DOMAIN. Which means George dosen't get a dime.
Now on the other hand. The profit margin was huge for Blair Witch. I believe it made over 100 millon. And yes It was such a low budget that they even returned the digital video camera they used in that movie. You also have to take into consideration what 60k was worth in 1968 as compared to 40k in 1999. 60k was a lot of money back then.
Also NotLD also had sequels, which were all good movies.
Blair's sequel, book of shadows, blew with braces on.
But if you want to talk about movies with no/low budget you cant forget titles like Plague Zombie, Dead Alive, The Burning, I drink your Blood, Last house on the left.
too many to count.
Ultimate no budget movie
I agree night of the living dead and blair witch were good movies but i seem to think that the evil dead movies are the best low budget horror movies.
Ultimate no budget movie
feeders...greatest movie ever
Ultimate no budget movie
Last House On The Left was great...truly a disturbing flick. But I agree with poltergeiss, Evil Dead 2 has to be the best. So many directors today even say that it's one of the best movies ever made.
Ultimate no budget movie
dumbest movie ever wores than the night of the rocks berry.
Ultimate no budget movie
i agree
Ultimate no budget movie
it has now been taken over by paranormal activity
comparing budgets
when you compare the 1960s dollars to 1990s dollars you also have to account for prevailing technologies in those times. It costs far less to shoot on video than film. Equipment is easier to come buy and processing costs are non-existent. By the time Blair Witch hit theatres it had also been post-processed by a major studio, so the movie's actual budget had gone up considerably.
