I mean, this is the kind of crap a messed up fifth grader would have written, i.e. me when I was in fifth grade. I just made a bunch of characters die in my stories too, sure there are some touches and nuances of professional writing, but in the end Mary-Kari is just crap in my opinion. Maybe because it is anime-esque....I dunno I can't get into it.

I agree that it isn't as spectacular as FEARnet and FEARnet members are making it but it's still not so bad. It's not meant to be taken seriously. They even say it's just pure tongue-in-cheek action.
Also the only thing anime-esque about the show is the art style. Nothing else has made me think of it as anime.
