So has any else seen this and what are your opinions? I thought it was hands down the most disturbing piece of cinema that I've seen in years. The pub dance scene is an instant classic.

This film was very good. Even though he has a small role I think Phillipe Nahon is one of the best "deranged" actors I've seen.

I watched this and was exceptionally disappointed. Then I realized it's because I was going by the description. Brutal, bloody, compared to TCM, dark comedy....err...did the person see the film? I was expecting Hostel with an actual storyline. This is not as advertised.

It is, however, a nice, solid little psychological kind of thing with minimum gore and physical brutality. The bar dance scene was just bizarre enough to get me to laugh, but the whole pig/cow/dog thing was just a cheap shot IMO. If you're looking for a not too challenging mind screw it can be an interesting movie, just don't expect extreme or to be taken off guard. You'll know what's going to happen pretty much 20 mins in.

Just as an additional point, this thread is in Splatter and Gore.
