A chatroom would be fun on FearNet....if it was possible to keep the stupid SpamBots off... I guess I am stuck in the nineties in that I used to like the chatrooms of AOL... Ive tried Yahoo chat, and man....its nothing but freaking spam

Been on here for 3 years and the only chat room I had ever encountered really was very very archaic and MS Dos style.

Theres some 300,000 members on the FEAR. Very few of them are interested in a chat room, much less a chaotic one with the amount of people and you can isolate them regionally because a friend from New York can have a friend in Ohio who has a friend in L.A. who has a friend in Alaska. We have members from Great Britain, Sweden, Bahrain, all over. There IS a chat room here that one of the members recently spoke about but it was always deserted. Most use the comment section on the profiles and on a busy night it gets hectic, never mind if you were actually trying to speak to people instantly. But there IS a chat room, mebbe you can convince friends to meet you there.

I second that idea. We need a better chatroom. This one is too old to handle all the users. Check-out the setup on Chatropolis. You might be able to set up a better chatroom with whatever system they are using. Seperate rooms by subject matter, allow P.M.'s etc.
