Ive seen that quote in a candeling book. IM just learning the fine art of candeling, and about the oils, etc.. And there was this whole page with bumper stickers, and that was very similar to one of them..I loved it

signatures are the worst idea ever... on my own board i make sure they're off... people can get out of hand with them and if they post a lot, the same sig is there over and over again... kills the speed of the board as well

I agree that we need signatures. You can limit it to text only, just 2 or 3 lines, no graphics. That shouldn't be too much of a server performance drain.

I hate to go against my fellow sister BDragoness, but I hate these things. They are right up there with animated avatars for things that will make me go nuts. The same thing over and over, not to mention people tend to make them just way too big. They eat board space and I think the only ones who enjoy them are the people that make them. If this is really necessary, how about a line under your avatar where you could add some text that would always show up when you post. Otherwise I beg you, NOOOO!

Then set it to once so the gfx only shows on the first post of a page or of the post at all if necessary but dont just not allow it .
They help identify a person as it reveals a little more about the person in a graphic or text way.
I love doing gfx it lets me show off for example.

If there is a two or three line limit, no pics, or other restrictions, that would be fine with me.
