Heard on the news that future employers are checking out Facebook to see what kind of a person you are. Some schools are requiring FaceBook Passwords from Students. I thought this was America -Land of the Free! How can they demand passwords for private web sites from people? Good thing future employers have not heard of FearNet or they might see what kind of twisted people they have working for them! Any thoughts on this fellow FearNetters?

probably a good idea , if it stops idiots going on there causing problems, trolls forinstance, cyber bullys , i thinks its good to have protection in place!!,,

If it is not done on Company time they have no right to access anything without your permission. Some places are doing this before they hire you to see info on you.

sorry i think i read your post wrongly ,,, but yeah well same thing really aplies dont it, i mean they could only gather the fact from someone posting on facebook that say there favourite colour is blue,,,, they woke up 3 mins past 8 and was late for work,, for dinner tonight i am having pie and chips,,, today is tuesday and i am baking cakes,, it is pathetic what people wirte on this site,, and if an employer wants to check up on someones profile ,, so be it, let em , saddos!!!

Where I used to work it was in the employee manual that you were not supose to post anything negative about the company or they could fire you! That's why my profile said I worked for Satan shoveling coal into the furnaces of hell. When I had my review I said they told me I was doing an adequate job & given a sip of water!
Glad I don't work there any more!
