Spoilers...
At the end of the previous episode when Shane and Rick are driving and Shane is staring into the field at that Walker trotting through the field, is that the same zombie that got Dale?
It would then be Shane and Carls fault for not saying anything. Also why didn't Shane say anything?
Re: Been thinking about something all day
I get the feeling the zombie in the field (not the same as the kid saw) was symbolic of Shanes situation. The zombie seemed to just keep circling the same field. Stagnant, decaying, getting worse without actually GOING anywhere. Nothing changing. Just rotting and getting worse. Zombie on the outside, Shane on the inside.
Re: Been thinking about something all day
Thanks for the explanation, makes perfect sense. It would be funny if that zombie ended up getting Shane. Although I don't think hes gonna die anytime soon.
Re: Been thinking about something all day
You never know. Shane is def going over the top in his behavior. Always angry, stressed, unhappy and violent. Not only that, its obvious that Ricks talk with him HAD NO AFFECT as he is NOW talking about DISARMING THE GROUP to "take over". If THAT isnt insanity, nothing is. How is he going to force people to accept his "leadership"? Particularly as he seems to be getting NUTTIER every minute? Even Andrea looked at him like he was NUTS. AND. . . his biggest problem/fault is that he is actually underestimating Rick (who has proven he has moves in the bar)
Re: Been thinking about something all day
To me it just seems like this show really needs Shane as him and Rick seem like the two main stars of the entire show. I would rather see him encounter a near death experience after be snaps that pushes him to the point of realizes he needs the group and has a kind of 'enlightenment' moment that brings him back to normalcy.
Re: Been thinking about something all day
Shane is a great character but there isnt any coming back when he has murdered a heroic innocent (Otis) who was just trying to help him and the group. Particularly that it wasnt "just" a shooting death. He let Otis be torn apart and eaten alive. I would excecute Shane for that alone. Cant ever trust a man like that regardless of his excuses.
