DARK SOULS

A new (?) Norwegian. . . . . or Danish. . . . . . or Scandinavian. . . . . . NORDIC movie. They ripped off THE TOOLBOX MURDERS, added a dash of THEY LIVE, mixed in the X-FILES jumping the shark concept of the "black oil aliens" from various bullshit episodes, AND. . . . . . threw in elements of zombies AND PERKINS 13. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . AND STILL, made a boring although NOT predictable subtitled movie. I stayed with it but had nothing to DO. I had to laugh cause for SOME. . . . ANYTHING NOT U.S. or British made is "better". This one actually could USE an easily more taught storyline/action from the U.S. and some British style creepiness to give better pacing and atmosphere to a very flat movie. They DID try to come up with something "new" or seemingly new. COULD HAVE been something with better writers. GLAD I dont live somewhere where I dont have the means to defend myself. Anyway, just my opinion. The name of the flick is DARK SOULS. Give it a watch if your desperate like me.

Here I was looking forward to various Halloween marathons until I realized the past few years HORROR is all I've been watching, lol.

BTW. . . . . . NOT THE VIDEO GAME !
