Kirk Hammett is a major horror collector. His collection includes such gems as rare Universal horror posters, a full-size model of Bela Lugosi, and a hand-painted latex mask inventory boasting the Creature from the Black Lagoon and Wolfman. Very few people have seen the collection first hand, but all that is going to change when his coffee table book, Too Much Horror Business, hits shelves in October.

Berberian Sound Studio tells the story of a sound engineer Gilderoy, played by the tiny and creepy Toby Jones, who is working on an Italian horror film in the ‘70s. Slowly, the engineer’s job becomes an obsession and life imitates art, evoking giallo greats in both storyline and visuals.

Dead Before Dawn 3D will be migrating to the U.S. thanks to a recent deal with Gaiam Vivendi Entertainment. The film stars Devon Bostick, Christopher Lloyd and Martha MacIsaac as three typical college kids who accidentally unleash a curse, via a cursed urn, that causes people to kill themselves and turn into zombie demons (aka Zemons).

Fans of the [REC] franchise, today is your lucky day. It’s been three years since the last installment, but finally, [REC] 3: Genesis is open in theaters and available ON DEMAND. For those of you who have been in a cave and don’t know what the films are about, here’s a brief rundown: There’s a mysterious disease that makes people do some awfully gorey things to one another. It might have something to do with demonic blood, or a strange organism.

The Possession is killing it in theaters with a domestic box office hitting over $22M and it shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. The story of demonic possession is well-tread territory in the horror genre and the story of the Dybbuk is not a new one.
