Guillermo Loves ?Frankenstein?
MTV News recently interviewed producer/director Guillermo Del Toro (Pan?s Labyrinth) about his longstanding desire to direct an adaptation of Mary Shelley?s Frankenstein. He explains that the only way to properly translate it is to do a four-hour miniseries, but he confesses he?s found some ways of making it work in theatrical terms. Keep your monster-chasin? torches safely stowed away for now, however, as Del Toro?s not even putting pen to paper for notes while the writer?s strike is going on.
