Carpenter Goes to Court

Horror Maestro John Carpenter took film producer Irwin Yablans and Compass International Pictures to court yesterday for back-owed funds from Halloween. He claims that the two have failed to provide any payments since 2004. Carpenter asserts the producer and distribution company have breached their 1977 agreement. It?s not known how much he is owed, but we have a feeling a certain Mr. Robert Zombie?s remake of Halloween just may have generated some revenue for the original film that should be going Carpenter?s way.
