?Machete? Releases Poster and Date
Rumors about a full-length feature film version of Machete, starring Danny Trejo, have been circulating since the release of Grindhouse last spring. One of a slew of faux trailers that ran within the Robert Rodriguez-and-Quentin Tarantino-helmed double feature, Machete drove fans especially wild. Today, we have some news on whether or not you?ll see a vengeance-driven Trejo slaughter everything in sight for an hour and a half! The guys over at TheMovieBlog.com have snagged the first poster from Machete and though we?re not sure if it?s the real deal or not, IMDB is reporting that in 2008, Robert Rodriguez is credited to write and direct a straight-to-DVD Machete film.
